The Maltaville Album Quilt blog is a place for those who join up for the Block of the Month pattern by me, Margaret Mew of Quilt Station.This blog is available for anyone and everyone to visit and enjoy (well I hope you enjoy your visit) but its primary purpose is to be a forum for members.
I'll be posting my block photo's, tutorials for applique techniques, fabric images with historical notes and anything else I think of which might be of interest and I hope members will post their block images and comments too in an effort to encourage each other on the journey.
Maltaville Album Quilt
is no longer available as a Block of the Month subscription but will be available to purchase as a complete printed pattern in February 2013.-

My first blocks
The next four – as fun to make as the first. This BOM is my first attempt at back-basting applique, and I’m so happy with it I’m never going back to freezer paper applique. BB is simply fantastic. Ady

The Cross and Crown block was a bit too stark for me, so mine’s a crown and lauerls. The peacock is my favorite so far. Ady in Israel
